Yoshi is a green dinosaur that is Mario's best friend. He can eat almost anything and turn it into an egg. He can utilize this ability for attacks. Yoshi needs eggs for most attacks, so he must swallow enemies to get eggs. He can have up to 3 eggs at a time.

Yoshi flails his arms and his legs propelling him upwards. He does very little damage if
he touches an opponent.

little damage and HUGE knockback to enemies it hits.

Yoshi was orignally created by Shigeru Miyamoto because he wanted Mario to have a "steed" to ride on. Now, he's a staple character in the Super Mario series.
